Product Description

The MaxLight MPC500R is a premium, fully concealed motorised UST cabinet built around a unique central rotating flip-out mechanism. It integrates your ultra-short-throw projector and floor-rising screen into one refined piece of furniture, and supports UST projectors from 0.16:1 throw ratio and above. When the projector powers on, the centre section rotates the projector into position, the screen cover opens and the floor-rising screen elevates. Power off and the whole sequence reverses, leaving the projector, screen and cabling completely hidden.

Custom Made for Your Projector & Screen: Important Prior to Ordering

Every MPC500R is made to order and built around your exact setup. After you order, we will ask you to confirm your projector model, screen brand and model, and screen size. Maxlight then tailors the cabinet's internal layout to fit your equipment, with any minor modifications included at no extra charge.

Lead time: 10–12 weeks from order to delivery. The cabinet is not held in UK stock. It is manufactured and shipped by sea in three pre-assembled sections; air freight is not available. Please allow the full lead time, as it cannot be shortened.

As a custom-made item, this cabinet is subject to our Trade Terms. It is non-returnable and non-refundable unless faulty, in which case it will be repaired or replaced.

Maxlight MPC500R Rotating Flip-Out UST Cabinet

Key Features

  • Custom built for your setup: each cabinet is made to order, with the internal layout tailored to your exact projector and screen. Not limited to one projector model, screen brand or fixed screen size, and minor modifications are included at no extra cost
  • 0.16:1+ UST support for ultra-short-throw projectors from 0.16:1 throw ratio and above
  • Rotating flip-out design: not a simple stretch-out tray. The central mechanism rotates the projector into position
  • Fully concealed: projector, floor-rising screen and cabling are hidden when the cabinet is closed
  • Synchronised one-touch operation: projector, centre section, screen cover and floor-rising screen move as one system
  • Purpose-built MaxRemo app (iOS and Android) for fine adjustment and system control over Bluetooth
  • Compact 500 mm cabinet depth, made possible by the rotating mechanism
  • Side-to-side airflow supports heat dissipation for high-power UST laser projectors
  • Integrated cable management: pre-cut access holes between the side cabinets and centre section for power, HDMI and AV cables
  • Modular & customisable: 100″ and 120″ standard versions, with extended side cabinets and bespoke finishes available on request

Central Rotating Flip-Out Mechanism

Unlike ordinary stretch-out projector cabinets, the MPC500R rotates the centre projector section into position. This is the key to its ultra-short-distance compatibility, fully concealed appearance and compact cabinet depth.

Synchronised One-Touch System

When the projector powers on, the cabinet opens in sequence: the centre projector section rotates into position, the screen cover opens, and the floor-rising screen elevates. When the projector powers off, the entire process reverses and closes with equal precision.

MaxRemo App Control

MaxRemo is purpose-built for MaxLight projector cabinets. It connects to the cabinet by Bluetooth and gives you direct control over setup, movement and power detection settings.

  • Travel distance adjustment: set the centre projector section travel distance with slider control and 1 mm fine adjustment
  • Manual open / close: operate the cabinet manually when needed, independent of the automatic sequence
  • Power detection threshold: monitor projector power and adjust the trigger threshold for current and future projector models

Future-Proof & Clean Installation

The MPC500R does not restrict you to one specific projector model. The adjustable power detection threshold gives you confidence when upgrading to another UST projector in the future. Cables can be routed through the cabinet, keeping the visible setup neat and furniture-like.

Compatibility

UST projectors: throw ratio 0.16:1 or above. The projector and floor-rising screen must be powered through the cabinet system for synchronised operation.

Made to suit your equipment: the MPC500R is manufactured to order and can be configured to accommodate UST projector models. The screen compartment is not restricted to one fixed size or to Vividstorm screens. Before production, we need your:

  • Projector brand and model
  • Screen brand and model
  • Screen size

If any minor internal modification is needed for compatibility, it is included at no extra charge. Final compatibility depends on projector size, cable position and ventilation clearance.

Confirmed compatible by Maxlight / D&H: Hisense PX4-Pro, Epson EH-LS970 and XGIMI AURA 3 Max, including 120″ setups with Vividstorm S Pro or Celexon floor-rising screens. The MPC500R is often the only Maxlight cabinet that suits projectors with very short throw ratios or raised lens housings.

Not sure if your projector fits? Read our compatibility guide: Is my projector compatible with the Maxlight cabinet? or call us on 01924 589 589 and we'll check for you.
