Orders/ Payment

Please note:You will be billed in £ British Pounds Sterling for all orders regardless of the country you order from. It is your responsibility to attain accurate exchange rates from your bank or a reliable source before making a purchase. All prices provided on this site in Euro’s (and all other currencies different to £ British Pound Sterling) are guide prices only, based on exchange rates that were correct at the time of publishing.

Whilst it is our intention to keep our website up to date and error free, product description or pricing errors may occur. If we discover such an error after you have submitted an order to us, we will contact you with the correct details. You may then either cancel your order or re-confirm it based on the correct information. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat your order as cancelled.

All prices shown on our website include VAT unless you are outside the UK or VAT does not apply to your country. If unsure please go through the checkout and taxes will be confirmed at the checkout stage for your area. 

Delivery charges are clearly highlighted prior to final payment and will depend on the speed of service you choose and delivery destination point.

Credit Cards

We accept most credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro cards, Amex / American Express. We no longer accept Pay Pal.

If you are shopping from outside the U.K. your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency and it is your responsibility to check this rate with your bank. Any rates provided by Personal Projector are indicative only and meant as a guide.


We use 128-bit SSL encryption technology to ensure that any information you transmit during the ordering process is secure. Your payments are secured to protect all personal information including credit card numbers, your address and any products you may order. We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you.

Orders and Cancellations
When you submit an order to us on our website, you will receive an email to confirm that we are processing your order. You will then receive a second email from us acknowledging your order has been shipped for delivery. You should check both emails for accuracy and let us know immediately if there are any errors. Neither of these emails constitute acceptance of the order by us. Your order will be accepted by us (and a contract will then be formed between us) when we dispatch the goods to you. Title to the goods will pass to you on delivery. Where you have redeemed a promotional code or any other offer ("a Code") against your order, acceptance of this order is subject to our verifying that the Code has been issued to you personally, that you comply with all the terms of the offer and qualify for the Code. In the event that the Code has not been issued to you for your personal use or you do not qualify for the offer, the price of the order will be adjusted notwithstanding any email or other confirmation that you receive. All orders placed through our website will be subject to our acceptance of the order. We reserve the right to decline any order for any reason.


Delivery / Shipping

We provide Next Working Day UK Delivery (if ordered pre 3.45pm) with full tracking and insurance (please call if you require that service after 3.45pm). We also offer worldwide delivery.

We use a variety of couriers including UPS for most packages, DHL for some larger screens, Royal Mail for accessories such as tripods or remotes. Other couriers maybe used at our discretion

Scottish Highlands & Islands

We reserve the right to charge for any postal surcharges levied by the courier for non mainland UK, Highlands and Islands.

Northern Ireland - flat rates range from £7.75 to £9.99 inc vat based on packaged up to 31.5kgFor accurate costs to ship to your address, please proceed to the checkout and use the postage checker.

European Shipping Rates - flat rates range from £14.10 to £57.58 based on all packages up to 31.5kg. For accurate costs to ship to your address, please proceed to the checkout and use the postage checker.

Rest of World Shipping Rates - calculated based on country and weight. For accurate costs based on your delivery address, please proceed through the checkout. Reduced rate countries include Australia, China, Japan, Canada and USA.

Some products such screens are also shipped via TNT, DHL, DPD and Royal Mail (some accessories).


    Shipping Updates

    Please check this link for any current delays due to Corona Virus. Currently most areas are unaffected and our parcels have been delivered on time by UPS in most cases but please allow extra time if your area is affected by lockdown or bad weather conditions. Money back guarantees for shipping are not available during the coronavirus crisis, bad weather or issues relating Brexit delays.

    Delivery Notifications / Signing

    If you can provide a mobile number and/ or an email address when you place your order, you will receive a notification of delivery.

    All packages must be signed for (unless the courier states otherwise eg during a pandemic).

    UPS Collection Points

    If your package is shipped via UPS, throughout Europe they allow customers at residential addresses to REDIRECT delivery to a UPS ACCESS POINT (collection point) of their choice if they are not going to be in.     Since January 1st 2021, post Brexit, all goods sold outside the UK will be sold excluding taxes.

    EU (including Channel Islands) - 1 to 7 working days 

    USA/Canada - 1-5 working days

    We offer fast next day delivery including a range of timed delivery options in the UK including pre 12pm as well as Next Day.


    All goods are shipped from the UK. Next Day delivery is also available via UPS or DHL if ordered early in the day. Please connect via our live chat, email or call prior to booking to confirm.

    Shipping Terms

    Whilst we make every effort to deliver goods on the day we specify, we cannot guarantee delivery on that day or accept liability for deliveries made outside this timescale. Delays are rare to our courier services but they can happen especially in busy periods and no refunds can be made for delays to any postal service whatsoever. We cannot accept liability for out of pocket expenses or other costs incurred due to failed or delayed deliveries. We reserve the right to change the courier services at any time. 

    All items are subject to stock availability and we reserve the right to cancel any item ordered at any time and provide you with a full refund.

    When we deliver your items to you will be asked to sign for the goods to acknowledge that you have received them. If your goods fail to arrive within 28 days of dispatch, you will have the option of either a full refund or a replacement shipment as soon as we have investigated with the courier.

    Where an incorrect address has been given to Personal Projector Limited we reserve the right to charge for any extra carriage costs incurred.

    Claims for damage, delivery discrepancy etc. should be made within 24 hours of delivery and any photographic evidence should be immediately submitted. Claims will not be accepted after 24 hours. Please sign the consignment document 'UNCHECKED', as we cannot otherwise accept any claims for damage in transit.

    PO Box Deliveries

    Deliveries are made by courier and require a signature on delivery, for this reason, it is not possible to deliver to a PO Box address. However for certain products you can re-arrange delivery to a UPS Access Point location (please enquire). You can use the access point as the delivery address. To find your nearest worldwide access point visit https://www.ups.com/dropoff/. You will be notified once it arrives by text or email.

    If a PO address is used in the address and it is returned to us you may need to pay for the redelivery costs (if no UPS access point is assigned by you). This applies particularly to Cyprus or countries where PO box is used as standard term on the address.


    We offer a simple and easy returns service providing you with complete piece of mind and all our products come with at least a 12 month warranty.

    In the event of any returns simply contact us on 0845 121 8800 or email us using the contact form above to arrange the return and obtain the correct return address for your product (please do not return packages without phoning or emailing first). To avoid buying a projector / item that does not suit your needs we strongly advise you to call us before purchase so we can advise you on the best projector for your needs and environment.

    When returning any package you must ensure all goods are properly packaged and boxed prior to return as any damaged goods cannot be accepted. You must pay for any return postage costs. Only packages returned in pristine condition with all packaging can be exchanged or refunded.

    There are many instances where projectors are not suitable such as in bright light conditions, outdoors or in direct sunlight so its worth calling us or discussing via Live Chat first before you buy. It is worth noting that pico projectors under £200 are not as bright as traditional projectors and should always be purchased with this in mind – they are designed to be portable, easy to use and flexible enough so the user can move to a room where the lighting conditions can easily be changed to either a dark or medium light environment. In general the more expensive the pico projector the brighter the projector will be and due to their miniscule size, pico/micro or pocket projectors are NOT a replacement for traditional projectors and must be purchased for use in the right conditions. However our range of Ultra Portable Projectors are more in line with a traditional projector's brightness and resolution levels.

    Returning Non faulty goods:
    We offer 14 days money back guarantee on most goods. 

    In the event that the customer arranges to return items which are not faulty, the customer is responsible for bearing the cost of the return back to Personal Projector. The average weight of units shipped is between 1-5kg which costs approximately £5 to return via courier (based www.parcelhero.com with no insurance). The customer is responsible for ensuring that the unit is returned securely, safely and in new condition. The unit must be returned in appropriate protective outer packaging to ensure its safe arrival back to Personal Projector as the customer is responsible for any damage caused to the unit before its return. Any items received in non-new condition may be refused for return or may be subject to a restock fee at Personal Projector's discretion.

    You have 14 calendar days to return the product for a refund. (if the goods are faulty see below). Please email Personal Projector (using the contact form above).

    You can either arrange a free exchange for another product or request a refund. Only one exchange can be made per customer per order.  

    If outside of this period we reserve the right to refuse the goods without refund or to charge a 20% restocking fee at our discretion although it is very rare this happens as we aim to resolve any issues with you directly.  After 14 days, returns will only be accepted in the event the goods are faulty. Goods that are returned for repair in December/ January may extra processing time due to holidays. 

    Returning Faulty Goods:

    Most products come with a 12 month warranty and some products come with a 2 year (Vivitek). Batteries (if in-built in the projector) are classed as consumables and include a maximum 6 month warranty. Any products must be used only with the original power supplies to avoid infringing the warranty.

    If the product is within the warranty period please contact us on 01924 589 589. We will inform you where the goods need to be returned so we can arrange a repair. Please DO NOT send to any of the addresses marked on the website or this will considerably delay your return. 

    Claims for damage, delivery discrepancy etc. should be made within 24 hours of delivery - claims may not be accepted after this time. Please note, in cases of claiming for damage the product and the packaging must be retained for inspection, otherwise this may invalidate any claim submitted.

    Only packages returned in pristine condition with all packaging can be exchanged or refunded. If any goods are returned in an incomplete manner or without pristine packaging, Personal Projector at it's discretion can either reject the returned item as incomplete and return the goods at the customers expense, or Personal Projector can choose to charge a restock fee of twenty per cent. Please check you have returned all small items such as manuals, cables, batteries, styli, etc. Personal Projector will do everything possible to facilitate any returns or cancellations.     Returning Goods From Outside the UK

    Please note the customer is responsible for returning goods back to the UK at their cost whether the goods are faulty or unwanted within 14 days of order.

    Its imperative that you contact us prior to return to obtain the correct paperwork to avoid double taxation on any returns otherwise returns maybe returned back to sender without the correct invoices.

    Whilst we endeavor to ensure the prices on our website are as accurate as possible, we reserve the right to change a price in exceptional circumstances. If a price is corrected due to exceptional circumstances, customers will be informed of the change before payment is processed and offered the opportunity to cancel the order. Business Customers If you are a business, you will not export any goods purchased from us in contravention of United States of America export controls.

    If you have a trade or credit account with us payment is due 7 days after the date of our invoice and we may charge interest for late payment calculated monthly at 4%. If you wish to return any goods that are not faulty we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of twenty percent. Once we inform you where to return the goods you agree to return the goods to us within 7 days. In the event the goods are not returned after 7 days of notification we reserve the right to refuse returned goods without refund.

    The use of our site and any contracts formed are governed by English law. We shall not be responsible to you whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for incidental, special, indirect or consequential loss or damage, any loss of profit (direct or indirect), loss of sales, loss of goodwill or reputation, loss of business, third party claims, pure economic loss arising out of or in connection of the performance or non performance of our obligations under these terms and conditions including such damage as may be reasonably foreseeable at the date you order the goods.

    Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or restrict our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Our liability for any claim for loss or damage shall be limited to the sum paid by you for the goods. A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions shall have no right to enforce any term under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

    If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court the invalidity or unenforceability of such provision shall not affect the other provisions of these terms and conditions. We may assign or transfer any of our rights or sub contract any of our obligations under these terms and conditions to any third party.

    You may not assign or transfer any of your rights or sub contract any of your obligations under these terms and conditions except with our specific permission in writing. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and any such changes will be communicated on our website.

    There are from time to time links on our website to third party websites which we believe may be of interest to you. We do not have any control over the content of these websites nor can we be liable in respect of anything contained on these websites.

    These terms and conditions govern the entire trading relationship between you and ourselves and will remain in force for the duration of our trading relationship.

    All intellectual property rights (including use of trade marks) shall be solely owned by us. You are permitted only to use material on this website as expressly authorized by us or our licensors. Any unauthorized use of material on this site is strictly prohibited.

    These Terms and Conditions supersede all previous Terms and Conditions, representations, undertakings and agreements (updated 2020).

    The forums are available for everyone - you do not have to be an Personal Projector customer to use the forums. The content of the forums represents the forum users, it expressly does not represent the views of Personal Projector Limited or its staff and Personal Projector Limited cannot be held responsible for the views and the comments expressed in the forums. The above policies do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

    Affiliate terms:

    1. Purchases from your referral link cannot be used in conjunction with any other coupon code unless we have set one up for you
    2. Payouts will start once any 2 sales have been made using your referral link
    3. Payouts will be made 30 days after the order has been delivered to the customer (via paypal or bank transfer, please enter your details on the affiliate dashboard)
    4. Returns – any refunds or returns made will be deducted from any payouts within the 30 day period
    5. We reserve the right to change our terms at any point


    Trade Terms (via our trade/reseller portal or trade discounts)

    These Trade Terms only apply to trade / discounts and do not apply to standard purchases or consumers where normal Consumer Contracts Regulations apply and 14 day returns are accepted.

    Trade terms apply to customer who are either classed as Trade, Resellers (ie using the password protected trade portal on this site) or customers where Personal Projector Ltd have applied trade discounts or sold under trade terms.

    Where trade terms apply, in these cases normal business to business terms apply rather than Consumer Contracts Regulations (previously Distance Selling Regulations).

    The buyer is deemed to understand the products/services they are purchasing and goods can only be returned if they are faulty within the normal warranty period and cannot be returned if unwanted once purchased.

    Inspection of goods upon delivery

    In the event there is ANY damage to the outer boxes whatsoever its really important that you get the courier to mark them down as damaged on their terminal. This makes any claims far simpler in the event of any damage. Please then take photos and timestamp them and send them over to us within 24 hours so we can process any claims if required.
