CES 2011 & Latest Review of the iGO UP2020

Last week, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2011 was held in Las Vegas, with a whole host of gadgets and gizmos grabbing our attention. We loved the look of the Electric ford focus, the hundreds of new tablets and how could we forget the Lady Gaga Polaroid photo sunglasses(!).

On the pocket projector front, 3D ready pocket projectors made an appearance and the award winning new iGo UP2020 was on show in the South Hall. We really feel it was one of the big stars of CES, and although we may be a little biased as we love all things to do with pocket projection, praise for the iGo UP2020 is being sung from all corners - recently appearing on 'BBC's Something for the Weekend' (see our blog article).

In fact, check out the latest review just in from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, who agree that this mini projector really lives up to the Design and Engineering award it received from CES Innovations 2011. Highlights:

    • 'the best we have tested so far in terms of combining great connectivity with true portability'

    • 'the colours are vibrant and the contrast is great'

    • 'One of the best things about this pico is the connectivity options'

    • 'this pico has a lot going for it, not least its true pocketability and remarkably reasonable price'
