Optoma also launched a new Ambient Light Rejection screen, the ALR101, designed to use with their ultra short throw (UST) range of projectors such as the Optoma UHZ65UST or the Chiq B5U UST laser 4k UHD models.
These ALR screens help cut down the ambient light and effectively improve contrast ratios and provide a much clearer image that pops off the screen.
The screens are available in many sizes but typically people tend to opt for 100”, 120” or 150” for home cinema screens and have very wide viewing angles as seen below.
