If you don't know what projection mapping is, just watch the video above for the most achingly beautiful demonstration. The science behind it is quite simple - using powerful projectors (in fact, many of the projectors on our website can be used for this, such as the Pico Genie M550 Plus) an image is displayed on a surface, that you can then make interactive using interactive sensors.
In fact, if you have the right software, there's no reason you can't use a pico projector to create a small-scale version of this exhibition at home, at work or anywhere! Take inspiration from the beautiful Flowers Bloom On People (pictured above), which appears to be an empty black room until you step into it. Once someone is in the room, they'll be illuminated with beautiful blooming flowers. The more people are in the room, the more the room blossoms until it's a colourful meadow.
That's not all - check out the room below, which is designed to look like a waterfall that reacts to your every move.
If you're down in London, we highly recommend paying a visit - you could even get creative and come up with some ideas you can create yourself!
