Along with the recent release of the new Nexus 7 tablet, Google have also released a tiny HDMI dongle the size of a USB stick device that allows you to stream content from your chrome browser to your TV.

Whether you're running iOS, Android, or a PC, as long as you're running the Chrome browser it will let you stream contect. It's being positioned as an affordable solution to viewing your mobile content on TV sets.

Our favourite feature is definitely the Chrome projection which (Although only in beta stage) will stream content playing on your device from Chrome to your TV. This is useful for those sites that aren't signed up to the Chromecast revolution and means that you can watch content on sites like iPlayer and Vimeo plus stream things like internet radio.

As for streaming from your Apps, there is currently a group of the usual suspects that you can stream from such as; Youtube, Google Movies, Google Play, Netflix.
