Enhance Your Brain with 3D Media!
New research has suggested that watching 3D media can enhance your brains cognitive processing and improve your reaction times! Visual-tech company RealD and a group of neuroscientists say that watching a 3D film can give viewers a 23% incease in cognitive processing and an 11% increase in reaction times.
The tests were carried out at Vue’s Picadilly cinema in London. Participants in the test were shown 30 minutes footage of Disneys new film Big Hero 6. First in 3D and then the same footage in 2D. Results proved reaction times were 5 times higher than that of watching same 2D footage. Neuroscientist Patrick Fagan said “people are living longer and there’s a decline in cognitive brain function in old age... The inital results of this study indicate that 3Dfilms may potentially play a role in slowing this decline.”.
